I was thinking about creating some sort of campaign mode for dota 2, which can be created using some of the lore of the heroes or even some of the comics released by valve. This project sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. I'm In!
Wow, amazing. I have never seen anyone fail to be funny so completely and consistantly. I read every comic on that page and couldn't find reason to so much as smile at a single one. Now I have a headache.
Found a drawing I'm a fan of. It's the best character I've come up with (inspired a friend to come up with 30 pages worth of comic drawings with this character in it. He named him "Y-No".) More here: http://brome.toogeek.com/stuff/concepts/
I know that the studios that develop spider man games and movies spend a lot of time translating the comic book signature poses to 3D. If you get some of those poses in there you'd have something pretty solid! Good work
She's not actually Asian if my limited memory of the comics serves me correctly. Shes a white woman possessed by an Japanese spirit or something to that effect. 'Tis looking nice Soda. Colours might be a tad washed out for me taste.
paying the same price for some anime character or comic book hero is mental. I'd pick one up if I was serious about doing characters, I don't understand why a coat grey primer costs $66 extra.
ya, sorry about the white bgs. I used these in tga format for a printout and forgot to reset the alpha. Here's some cinematic renders we used for win and lose screens: and comic intro we used to explain the crazy story:
I had to read that a ferw times until I understood it. Either way it's not funny. They should put the commentary into their blog and the jokes into the comic. Or perhaps make funny commentary instead of some random sentences that are less funny than Garfield.
Cartoon character for animation modeled only in Maya and textured with Substance Painter, rendered with Arnold. Cartoon project for Animum Creativity Advanced School. Based on the character Thomas Marriott from my favourite comic, Universe! by Albert Monteys. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xJvRWW Thanks for watching!!
Fellows, So I've been wanting to learn more about theories behind image composition and wanted to know if anyone can share and recommend some good books. I'm open to sugestions from different mediums, like painting, photography, comic books, etc.
