HD-DVD is true 1080p if you can support the resolution. Some how some company that was responsible for the creation of blue-ray started this rumor that HD-DVD can't do 1080p. Little off topic, but... Personally i don't feel the need to get an HDTV rite now its too early still. I'm waiting until the dust settles and HDTV means it can do everything from 480p to 1080p. Got my PC back from repair shop and they say it is an incompatability with vista and my video card so replacing the card with a new one , preferably an ati card will sort everything out.
