wow, your portfolio is full of great stuff. presentation could use some work though, especially composition. i'd also drop the big logo (it's distracting) and use dark gray background instead of black one.
I use carbonmade.com Its free and fast with a small modest logo of the company on the corner. Downside it doesn't have many features, but since its for a portfolio it has enough to make a proper site to display your work.
I'm also in the PTW if anyone wants to add me: "Strelok" I'm also starting a casual clan for those interested called "Zone Enforcement" (hah!). We have logos and awesome black & white patrol cars. :)
Thanks guys! I'm currently working on animating the main menu logo so I'll try to post a GIF of it tonight :) After that I will go into animation mode and whip out a whole bunch of new animations for the Chameleon.
agreed with all the above also your logo image http://www.george-cochrane.com/banner_logo_highlight.jpg is a little different color then your background on my monitor. Your image background color is 1a1a1a and your webpage background is 141414
Very cool design. It could use some smaller high detail elements like guns and lights. And maybe a 3rd color like orange for decals, logos? Also have you thought about a dDo pass?
The rust track at the bottom piece is good. The olive color is okay. My problem is that the props lack a visible function (no Enterprise logos or usefull warning messages) combined with simple design and texture so the greyish color is boring.
I like yours how it as, although I'm not a fan of the font, a and o look very similar at a distance. You could also do a very simple pattern on the back or a logo, just do white and light grey.
@Rick: What's up with that Apple theme? I mean, if you like Apple that much, why don't you actually get a real one? It looks just stupid (sorry ) to have that Apple logo on a WinXP desktop.
Better, but I still think the circle for the insignia shouldn't jut out on the handle. This may be a completely different style gun, but take a look at how the smith and wesson logo is integrated into the handle of the highway patrolman. Try something like that.
