Here's a rig I setup for the AW109SP tail rotor that I modeled. The whole thing is driven by one rotating null toward the back. The point is to change the pitch of the blades. The editor is pretty cool. Quite familiar for max/maya users (manipulators are similar etc). The game ran quite badly on my 2gig, AMD 64 3800+ dualcore, 7900GT machine, at 1024x768 with all things set to Medium. My friend ran it on a core2 duo intel with nvidia 8800 GTX, all settings high, but couldn't run it 1680x1050… -

It took about 6-8 minutes for the curvature and 10 for the AO (on an i7 3820). The AO was baked with 60 samples and full AA, and it was almost perfect, only did a very small Surface Blur in PS. It was still significantly faster than baking in xnormal. -

If you're going for budget, I can't recommend the philips 8420 enough. It's 30", HD, has an HDMI connector and component, and comes with free shipping! Of course you have to get it refurb for the extremely low price, but it comes with a 90 day warranty (and Philips has amazing service) in case you somehow get a lemon.… -
