Update! Found out one thing that was wrong with the normal map: I didn't have a light on in the viewport, and apparently normal maps look better with light. Who knew? Also started on my diffuse maps. Body ( 2048 ) Vest (1024)
Lazybumped. For 1024 textures your layout is very poor and the detail is lacking. If you'd like critique post up some wires and your uv's. Right now there isn't much to tell other than the fact that you threw on some screenshots.
Perhaps its just down to childhood nostalgia, but I think I still prefer the original! http://photos1.blogger.com/img/155/967/1024/cyberman.jpg that distinctive head shape was just so nutz. Looked like a robot tellytubby.

Agreed with what those guys said really. Brilliant high poly work but the low poly/textures could really do with some optimization. You could probably (at a push) fit all that on a couple of 1024 maps. Look into texture and model modularity.
6 2048 x 1024 textures shouldn't crash UDK unless you've got a super wimpy graphics card. Maybe a corrupt or missing texture? Did you make the material in a different version of UDK than the one you are trying to load it in?

Because approval of this thread took so long I'm bumping it with a piece that I also posted in another thread already. I finally have a place to post all the stuff :) . The wall is a flat plane and uses the same 1024 texture map as the ledge.
thanks for the feedback although i feel as if i could get / should be getting alot better res i eventually want these textures to be 1024/ especially if they were going to go into a game i honestly dont think the details would hold up.
