I do wonder why Softimage has such a huge hold over Japan. The additions in the new software sounds fairly nice. Not too keen about the new logos but that's not really relevant in the grand scheme of things.
Yeah I kinda made some generic trucks from some ref then added the logos afterwards, wont be too hard to sort (the bolts and placement can be just a quick scale up/movement too)
I added game-logos to the thumbnails on the index page, I think it's a bit too busy, what do you guys think? I think it definitely helps advertise the games I've worked on though.
Thanks Quake! I am trying to adjust the contrast and brightness to fix that. Prolly my next jugg or whatever skin will be less pronounced. Should have put a big logo on the back shoulder pad too.
oh, I missed the black marmoset logo in the corner against that black background in your previous shot. Im looking forward to seeing it in UE4 though! Marmoset is doing a fine job in the above screenshot though.
Its the right colors at least. :) but yes there's nothing to say that this is a Sinestro Corps building rather than just something from space-IKEA with the yellow accent package. At least put the yellow lantern logo in there somewhere. :)
I could be wrong, but I think he's referring to consistent formatting/presentation of images/video (borders, small logo, fonts, etc...), rather than consistent visual styling in all the different portfolio pieces.
lol the funny thing is when i saw the pitch reel for it last year it was a huge compilation of 80s stuff that that scene is what the logo exploded out of their biceps hahah. so yea, perfectly summed it up!
Our level designers are working on the rivers for the game. Looking pretty good! We're also getting the concepts for the main game logo / banner down. If anyone's interested, hit me up with an email at: info@jumpcheckstudios.com
Came out great! I think the ends could use a little more shading, and that dota 2 logo paint thingy could use a bit more work. looks a bit "photoshop brushed on" at the moment.
