I'm trying to get a superficial understanding of the anatomy of the most known species except maybe insects and mollusks, but the majority of books I find treat only mammals. Is there any book focused on artists that goes a bit on common reptiles, birds and fishes and from where I could get a general reference?
What OS? If you don't already have Win7 64 that would be a good place to start, up your ram to 8gb would be a cheap quick upgrade, Win7+SSD makes a pretty nice difference as well, I have a very similar setup to you(was running XP64) and added a 120GB SSD + Win764 and it was like buying a new computer. Your mobo/CPU…
Couple of rigger/animators I know, especially when working on personal stuff would always help themselves too stock sets of whatever realtime assets from the UE store, for prototyping purposes and yeah those dudes are nuts...drink like fish O_o
Loving this. The front end of the whale looks fantastic, the tail makes me think it's a shark though since it has a vertical tail. Fish and sharks swim moving their spines side to side with vertical tails and whales swim by moving their spines up and down with horizontal tails.
Tinned tuna comes in two types. Tuna chunks, which is your "expensive" primo luxury stuff, and tuna flakes, which is the cheap, awful fish's asshole kind of stuff. And notice I said I was lucky to have that. EDIT: Haha. Beat me to it :P
QFT. Really well said. Ariel the Little Mermaid, Fishing for compliments will get you nowhere. Tarzan, Monkeying around will get you nowhere. Lady and the Tramp, Will probably end up as the latter if a job isn't obtained. Yes, I see a pattern developing here...
Not anything sketchy or 3D, but I made some sushifish. Here's the one I did on Saturday As a sushi: Turned inside out, it becomes a fish! When in sushi-mode, it's about the size of the large maki sushi, I can't remember exactly what they're called.
nope.. not the big lebowski... this movie is way older. here is another quote. I]Lunch is served; it's fish[/I 1: I hope you don't mind. I believe they should be served with the head. 2: Fine... long as you don't serve the chicken that way.
Did a couple castle thumbnails and worked on the base of the fountain, trying to push the narrative. This city has persisted despite inhospitable conditions, partially sheltered by the cliffs and sustained by fishing. Merchants that brave the cold arrive by boat, and oft trade for exotic animal parts endemic to this region.
Coming back to the "moresharknudity"-thing (@RocketBryan), these smaller Back-Fins can show the more Fish-Side of the Character. At the sides of the Belly, but maybe there is too much things Sticken out of the Abdominal Part... ps. these mini fins could be one of the Wiggle parts ont he character :)
