Dude, 3 months of caves... We've got a guy here for the entire project has been working on nothing but Rocks, Cliff Facades, and more rocks... He's been here for over a year. Could be worse ;) Mind you, his rocks look damn sexy... But I'd be putting a bullet through my skullcap if I were in the same situation. :) -

Looks good, an idea may be to have the rocks a dark grey (like normal rocks) instead of black, as magma cools it gets lighter. Thought behind this is that the character is mostly solid and has been for some time, the cracks let the heat out keeping the rock near the lava black and fades out to grey as it gets further away… -

Not sure I understand you correctly but if what you are asking is about moving individual rocks in one static mesh with a bunch or rocks the short answer is you can't. You'll have to split the mesh into indiviual meshes for the rocks. If this is not what you are asking for I think you need to give more details on exactly… -

Thanks. The rocks aren't meant to be used by themselves, they'll be used "modularly" to create cliffs/larger clusters of rocks and I think they'll work quite well for that. If not I'll make some replacements. I'm working on some new rocks that will be used separately and I'm using an entirely different method for those.… -

it's just cosmetics, dota isn't pay 2 win @ghaztehschmexeh: get rid of the lamda in you runes, valve will remove it, i tried that already, got removed ;) Also it doesn't look quite like rock yet, especially not like rock form the universer, check how they built their rocks for reference :)
