Hiya, started another contest entry. This time I'm pulling inspiration from Chris Foss's spaceships ( http://chrisfossart.com/ ) I've started blocking out the detail pass, doing a loosely inspired spaceship look with some of my own style from Fractured Space thrown in the mix. Once I get the details all done I'll start…
Motivation and inspiration. Motivation = I can't wait to finish this boring project/I can't wait to see the awesome final result/I can't wait for payday Inspiration = Team members, books, movies, discussion boards. Everyone is different when it comes to the both of these. You just need to find what works well with you.
The textures are awesome and truly inspiring! One critique the environment effects could be pushed a bit more. Thank you for the breakdowns it helps me out alot. Also after checking out your website I realized that you went to the same school as me which is truly inspiring in itself. Cant wait to see the tutorial on this!

So, despite not making it, I found something new to create a story of my own based in this little piece given from the contest itself. Thank you for the inspiration. I know I can create something even better from here :)

Really inspiring work you have here. Great job with the chainsaw. A few stretching issues here and there, but nothing you can't fix easily. Awesome job man... Not with just the chainsaw but with everything. You inspire me to model some random yet awesome junk. :) Keep it up man, I'm a fan of your work.

If I update the mesh or textures they will automatically be updated in the engine, whether the game's running or not. It's really an indispensable feature, particularly on complex materials. Seeing how Unity-inspired the…
