alright update time....just finished the AK magazine here...u just gotta fuckin love that chunky, more curved 7.62mm mag. I think I'll probably do another variation just to swap em out and see what looks better -

In a similar vein, anyone know a way to batch a UV set bake swap of a whole PSD file, layer by layer? Would be great to have a tool like this sometimes, so you end up with a PSD that you can still work with using the new UVs. -

If you have them all in a multi-sub material you can just make a new multi-sub material with the maps put into the diffuse. This way you can easily swap it back. I do this all the time when I'm using max and RTT. -

I think the one neox linked is more usable for hair in general. You could quite easily just swap out a different texture to get another hairstyle (fro, buzzcut, spikes) while with the 'fur shell' method you're limited to a fairly fuzzy hair. -

Looks like it's pointing at an old version of the OBJ loader preferences dialog command (these scripts were written for 501) and it now wants a units argument. Try swapping line 203 which should be lx.eval("!!loaderOptions.wf_OBJ false true") with lx.eval("!!loaderOptions.wf_OBJ false true Meters") -

Thanks, might end up getting this, unless you see something I can still save on? (every bit helps ;) ) and will try building it by myself, which will be a first, only swapped videocards, changed memory and added a optical drive, so hope it'll be alright ;) -

You know, it could possibly be the screen. I have a LCD and LED and i swapped my browser from one to the other, and the LED shows your scene alot brighter while the LCD is darker. I guess it depends on what type of monitor people have. :) -

I think your hand rotation is causing the weapon to hitch. The weapon should have it's own controller. The best thing is to use a Biped Prop, then you can set those keys to world rotation. That'll keep the weapon from swaying when the hand twists. -

Thanks for the critiques. I've been working on fixing some of the issues pointed out. I switched up the order of my effects, swapped out the explosion for a different one, changed the first AOE spell, and I added some more to the last effect. http://www.shimamotovfx.com/
