Dvolution: cool stuff, try pushing the saturation on all ur mid-to-low values (core shadows, essentially). I'd also suggest presenting the fan-art/tests without the games' logos...
Starting to design some more lines and patterns to apply, made the arrow design to fit on top of the barrel, used Adobe illustrator for these, will also start working on a logo for the handle and to use on future designs :)

Proportions are cool. My only critiques will be the lack of metalness feeling on the armor, it look a bit flat. - And the " the atom " logo, way too big on the final image. Keep up the good work Panda.
Thanks! And it actually is a real, very strange but awesome game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_Nation_(video_game). The logo and screenshot used for the screen are from the game, though I painted the side panel myself.
Hehe, hope you guys have a great day there. The greentooth was the saving grace for me, saw Andy standing with a (was it backpack or t-shirt?) with the logo, so I crossed the road and said hey. ;)
The next step is the heavy texturing, after editing some of the bake images to clean up artifacting and perceived errors. The grip design is still likely to change, the logo and layout are essentially placeholders at the moment.
I can't watch the vid atm, but in the thumbnail you look like Wesley Crusher with part of your face covered by the you tube logo. Hey he was one of my favorite characters!
