arg arg arg should NOT be using ZB 3.5 without good reason- decimation master doesn't work in 3.5 and tools made in 3.5 won't open in 3.1 so I just hit a poly cieling and will have to redo a crapload of wok in 3.1 grrrrrr -

Honestly, for a junior, it really depends on where you get a job. A bigger, well known studio. Probably between 35k - 45k. I think a lot of AAA studios start juniors around 40k. But, smaller studios, it really depends on the studio. It can go anywhere from minimum wage to 35k. Do your research, but definitely don't EXPECT… -

Ah. Everything before 3.1 was painful in my opinion -- useable, but technical and not 'fun' (except 3.0 which was probably unuseably buggy). MB brought a clean UI that got rid of the feeling that the program was blocking what you were working on. With 3.1 ZB can be equally clean and there are a few tools with no MB twin.… -

I dunno, I think it would be a pretty hard argument to make that the 35L is 3x as good as the 30mm 1.4. I'm certainly not going to say the 30mm 1.4 is a better lens, but I do believe its a much better value. The 35L is your only choice if you want a fast(1.4) wide on full frame tho! -
