Aside from layout differences, FF8 and IE8 look identical to me (colour-wise). Opera11 appears to display the images slightly darker, but it's not a noticeable difference unless you're looking for it.
Haha, yeah, youre right and thank you. While developing this Barrel, i also thought about that its very similar to a grenade shape. I think its because of the FFD-Modifier i used started from the Middle point of the barrel.
by modifiers I assume you mean deformers? Which are available in the "animation" set under Create Deformers, from there u can create a lattice (ffd), wrap (NURBS patch deformer), and non-linear deformers (like bend and flare).
lattice modifier - you are talking about 3ds max' FFD? if it's an unskinned character then it's quite simple - create a copy of all the pieces, attach them together into a single proxy mesh, make the lattice work as desired on this, then deactivate the modifier. now use a skinwrap modifier on each part of your original…
