In max in this case ^^ but on the first image, it's a similar's TF2 shader with a hard "ramp" texture. 3 ramps on it. Steam is definitely starting to feel a little dated. And it doesn't help that their exclusives like TF2, Dota2, CS:GO, Portal, L4D, etc are getting old and they haven't really followed up with anything except for Artifact just now. However, they can always release HalfLife 3 to bring people back ;) -

For being, what I'm assuming, would be a first person gun.. some of your cylinder's are big eyesores from the faceted edges. Make them more round. The guns we did for Resistance 3 had around 15,000 Tris. The gun looks like a TF2 gun, to be honest. The concept had more jaggy edges and your metal is reading flat considering…
