I can't speak from personal experience, I grew up in the 80's so I represent the creative peak of American kids! lulz. But, much like Smilex, it isn't one specific thing but a combination of factors.
lol thats like funding for 2 MMO's. his normal 8 million dollar salary alone could keep 80-100 of us employed. wonder if he does an entire studios worth of work each day.

Here's a quick pic of the normalmapped lowpoly with a color and specular map, just to see what it will look like with a texture. This is not not NOT the final texture or spec, as it's just a test! Mostly posting to prevent thread death. The normal is about 80% finished.
aint got shit on san antonio, texas the other day, it flooded, people died, school cancelled, like 40 or 50 degrees outside next day, 80 degrees outside hot and humid as fuck i hate it
The film made a $260 million loss - which is quite frankly absurd. Whoever game a film a $350 million budget needs their head on a chopping block, because in order to break even, that means around 80 million people need to go and watch it...
Hey guys, thanks for the continued feedback. I'd love to get back into Unreal and do some more compositions with these assets in the future. In the meantime, here's a link to the 80lv article and some breakdowns. https://80.lv/articles/creating-mossy-swamplands-in-ue4/
Similar to Arrimus 3D, you can check out tutorials by Warren Marshall and Musashidan. ChamferZone also has some helpful tutorials. Advanced Tiling Techniques by Alex Senechal. Learned a lot from this. There's also a ton of hidden gems in 80 level.
Thanks. There are certainly several things that took over a week, I don't want to overstate things. That is about 80% of the work I did for them and it was done over 11 months working 9-5 hours and normal person amounts of vacation time.
