Ha , well you know im sure i'll play it ..it's Diablo after all . I am not one of those people who gripes about paying a subscription fee if that's how I came off . It's more disappointment that it wont be a single player game, but a game world with none linear story I have to share with 1000's of L33T D00D$
Hey Daniel! I just See your post. everything you did work, The only problem is the DeriveNormalZ node dont work really well. BC7 is great to keep the same Quality with Color Linear to be sure to not have problem with gamma Use this math to recreate your Blue Channel and after. add at the end Normalise Muliply by 2.5 add -1…
You just need to use file output node in compositor pane. And what they called render layers is now View layers I believe. Mist etc, they call it "passes" or "AOV"s, You don;t have to save then manually either . Use file output too. Pay attention to color managment. What you see with viewer node is linear usually and png…
Skylight should have "lower hemisphere is black" disabled. You can also put a latlong cubemap into it. It doesn't make much sense to judge the shading before matching the lighting. Its also possible that your roughness map is in sRGB color space instead of linear. Looks like you have more glossy reflections in Unreal,…
I don't move the root control. Mainly because it produces 'quick' but linear movement to the body, where as properly posing every limb etc. can give a more organic feel. You can always just switch to FK anyways. :) Tbh though, I only do animation for games, so I actually don't know if it is much different for movies etc.
I think what you have is good enough to start painting from. I'm not sure if you have done this but make a convexity map and layer it so that it highlights your edges more ( Try "screen," "colour Dodge," or "linear dodge"). Since we don't get spec or normal maps, it's up to the diffuse to really define the edges and give…
The Panther looks great, I think you can do a few things to polish it off. The concept has dings and dents, add those in Zbrush. The flood lights look too perfectly linear maybe offset a few of them. The whole object is metal use different materials for the different pieces rubber, fabric glass etc. Look forward to seeing…
I also use a wacom to model. I can use both max and maya with my wacom tablet. The only difference is that I like to set the rotate gizmo to arc, instead of linear, motion. I do use a lot of marking menus/quad menu commands. I started using my wacom specifically because of carpal tunnel problems. You get used to it.
I am trying to find some good tutorials for learning v-ray how is this tutorial" http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/news/2012/11/v-ray-fundamentals-materials-lights-and-linear-workflow-with-stephen-delalla/ got any other resources to recommened other than that one I posted, and again I want to follow it so please let me…
Im using a target linear light with brazil set as my renderer. Photon map server is set to caustic and global active. And in the luma server box, it has skylight active. And heres a pic of the scene: And the only thing that is sperated is the flashlight button, the plastic cover, and the round reflector inside with an…
