That's just about what my Sager NP9262 has. I have no problem at all. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the benchmarks on SLI 9800's weren't anything to rush to the store over. I don't think the extra arm and leg is worth the dule performance cards anyways (more like bragging rights that mean nothing in the…
that is true about alot of the current mmo's but doesnt necessarily have to be true about the ones made in the future. Imagine a syndicate wars mmo - how would that be different? well for a start it could be isometric 3D it could involve making syndicates of 4 people with you and your friends it could involve vast numbers…
Jzero, only a select few listen to NPR not to mention Garrison Keillor, but its good to know your one of them too. I guess the news from lake wabagon isnt very interesting to most.
Hey Cheapy, these last two models are neat! I'd be interested in seeing some shots of the microgargoyle at thumbnail size with a bit of animation slapped on it. This would have been a nead npc model in the Spyro days indeed. I like this head too, she has a distinctive looks that is different from the bland and overdone…

Select an edge or edge loop, break it and relax the piece. Sometimes I'll convert the edge selection…
such a direction texture would likely look similar to a normal map, I think. as it would be like a rotation matrix for each pixel. as 2d rotation would be enough R/G could store sin/cos of the orientation and maybe use B as stretching factor.. two years ago I did some stuff for university where I generated such per pixel…
Higher Res versions for more shock and awe http://media.ps2.gamespy.com/media/748/748505/vids_1.html?fromint=1 ROR in that video the robots head is blown apart and glowing orange with heat ...can you destroy NPC like that...blow them apart ..or is that just for dramatics ..freaking love the material effects there looks real
Hey PolyHertz, I remember that game. (: For me it's been Demigod and KillingFloor with friends, and Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga as a singleplayer RPG to fire up once in a while. Kind of addictive, really cool game. Surprisingly great voice-acting; NPCs with even just a few lines wind up being memorable.
