It was a rant, that's all. The guy wanted to point out the Autodesk policy about this format. Actually FBX support in Blender is pretty good and the support for this format is still there.

Customize > Preferences > Viewports > Choose Driver > Legacy Direct 3D Autodesk never added the ability to view textures unfiltered in the viewport when using Nitrous.
autodesk charge double too, it's like they don't understand that the dollar and pound are two different currencies or something. Still, at least they don't skimp on the packaging. gnnngh
this is a classy,- it would be nice if either microsoft or discreet/autodesk would finally fix this - or in other words finally provide a software environment that is capeable of multi- monitors.
Since this appears to be a 3DS Max issue, you will be more likely to get help if you post in the Tech Talk sub-forum, or by contacting Autodesk directly.
I found out that Maya crashing was because of the scale of the scene, and it's an error that Autodesk is looking into. Turning off consolidate world in the VP2.0 options fixed it for now.
