I upgraded to 2014 and it fixed the problem. Just posting this here to let others know if they happen to Google it sometime in the future. Nevermind. Shit is fucked for me if I ever want to work on a scale between 0.0 and 1.0.
Does this work yet? Or does anyone know the ETA. Mozilla and Unreal Engine 4 Running in Firefox? https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2014/03/12/mozilla-and-epic-preview-unreal-engine-4-running-in-firefox/
Sweet necro! I love seeing the progress from the very first image, in what, 2014? This is looking awesome, I love the updated hair and I can definitely see the likeness. Looking forward to seeing more!
You know Max 2014 would take a long time to open for me, but with 2017 it's like 3 seconds. I have practically the same scripts and plugins installed on both. Sorry I couldn't help more.
You can also use python natively http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/16/ENU/3ds-Max-Python-API-Documentation/index.html http://tech-artists.org/forum/showthread.php?4257-3dsmax-2014-Python-is-out
Thanks s6 ! Just to be sure, Witch software do you use to render that and what do you do ? I'm on 3dsmax 2014 and I use a skylight to make that smooth effect. I'm probably wrong :S
Modeling Toolkit covered here. If you don't have Maya 2014 you can use a combination of Make Live and Tweak Mode to more quickly snap the verts of your low poly to your high poly.
maya 2014 have a really nice retopology tool. worth a try. Mudbox is nice for sculpting. But there is a big lack of "ready to use tools". You can pretty much do everything on mudbox, but is a lot of manual work.
Yeah, Viewport Canvas had so much potential and it is very convenient to use. Hope Autodesk fixes it. Seems a lot of ppl are complaining about 3dsmax 2017. I am still using 2014 version lol.
Sorry to bump this, but it's unnecessary to create a new thread when there's already a thread. Just curious how you run the HKLocalTools mentioned in the OP? Nothing happens when I run the script in the script editor. Is it compatible with 2014?
