Same with Head, a guitarist of Korn: http://headtochrist.com But of all people.... Maynard? I'm roman catholic, and that scares me. But just in time, aparently the next pope is supposed to be the anti-christ, says some religious circles.
Thanks for the feedback GarageBay, I completely agree about the circle the more I think about it the less it works, everyone seamed to like it in the thumbnail bit it isn't practical so its going to need to go.
I were refering to the circled area here. Due to the harsh edge of the shadow I assumed it'd be a smoothing-error. If that's also in the AO, then you might just want to smooth that part out a bit. Cheers
I like 8 and 12, they seem the most functional as a support pillar. the other ones seem a little too random or lacking purpose. that circle in the bottom of 8 would look great housing a spinning fan.
What about this semi-circle arch? Should I: a)set one smoothing group to it b)add one more segment to it and set one smoothing group to it b)set a separate smoothing group to each of 3 polygons ?
I'm glad she's dead. Gives us another chance to circle jerk about how morally superior we are for not giving a f*ck about more successful people who enjoyed themselves more than we did.
I created NURBS circles in maya to fit the arm then went to Surfaces > Loft to make the bands. Then you go to modify > convert nurbs to polys. I found the problem with the armor. I had the normals reversed for some parts of the armor.
I just meant have to make cuts and connects to make quads and triangles haha. As far as smooth merge goes, I just mean how you created the two shapes I circled in the pic. They flow evenly together
ah wonderful thank you for the response. I've got the rig in successfully in Unity, just need to figure out how to make a controller for it like in maya you have the Nurb circles. Is there a way of creating something similar like that but in unity?
sorry for bumping this thread, but I couldn't help and follow up with a couple semi-relevant questions to the OP. How did you get those overhanging supports to arch? For clarity I circled what I am referring to in this link
