Re: Question regarding twisting mesh on ZBrush
An example is the Drake character from Uncharted 4. Geme-res character: 30K tris. Cinematic character: 60K tris. Just to clarify on my post up top. My reason for advising you to use a much lower res base mesh to sculpt on had nothing to do with in-game triangle count. It was purely as a method of sculpting. -

Thats a great deal. Only thing that bugs me is that they kind of penalize existing modo users who havent upgraded yet. To put it in perspective, upgrading is almost half the price of a new license at 40%. They should probably apply that across the board. Still cant justify spending $300 on mesh fusion, despite it being… -

I'm afraid I haven't seen that movie yet. The face sculpt was inspired by Lena Headey (300 movie) and Catherine Zeta-Jones somewhat, not sure if I succeeded though. For the hair so far my results look acceptable I think except for the material, still working on getting the strands to look less smooth. -

One question for who has completed/is near completing it, how many hours did it took? I'm the type of slow-gamer that likes to explore the levels and I guess I will try to play this game stealthy, will i get 30h of gameplay, or is it like Rage? (brilliant art but 8h and you're done) It looks very nice! -

Hi Thanks for the reply, The helmet is 5k Tris/ 2k polys, whilst the head is 30k tris, i am indeed going for a portfolio piece / maybe a FFxv /ps4 type polycount I have read that one character has around 100k polys in the game, would this equal to 200k tris ? or do they mean the tris are 100k? -

I was actually thinking that about the leaves, glad to know I wasnt just weird, that it is off, to be honest, i originally set out to have less than 30k unique, which i beleive i had up until the newer props started getting modeled, i will have to check what its at now. -

You can go on Polycount and find 300 people who can all make a real time game weapon, therefore the next people to post one don't deserve constructive feedback? Your logic is hilariously flawed. There was a mature way to put across the opinion in your opening post, and you didn't bother to think of it.
