Thanks for everyone at Polycount for the crits and help on this peice. Here are the final renders for my portfoilo. This was a fun sketch that turned into a polypainting/rendering test, but I'm ready to move onto other things. Cheers everyone.
Hi! I need more practice on head sculpting on Zbrush, but I have learned so much by sculpting this face. I also tried to play with some polypainting. The hair is a bit of a mess. Feedback and critique is appreciated! :D
Some Mass Effect fan-art, I like Jondum Bau's armor and try make it. Start learning Zbrush dynamesh , and I like it! Polypaint its just for fun. Next I think make next-gen character from this.
This is my first creature bust I've created in Zbrush! It's based on concept work by goma_lee on twitter, and it made me a lot more comfortable with both zbrush and creatures! I used polypaint to add color. Feedback is appreciated!
Yeah, Blender's vertex paint tool is laggy when used on very high poly models, which is kinda useless for "polypainting" inside Blender. ZBrush is naturally a technical wonder to handle that with an ease.
Long time no post! Work was quite busy. In the mean time I've polypainted and finished up the rough posing of the character. I'm hoping to get any critiques on facial likeness to the concept and readability.
Threw a polypaint on her for testing colors on the map. Still tweaking her face to get a shape I'm happy with. Major value tweaks are needed so everything reads better on the smaller scale. :)
Thanks guys, I usually aim for 'interesting' but I'll settle for weird :x First try at polypaint, some of the results when using layers were really messed up. Composition studies
Another update, major sculpting has been completed, now its on to high frequency detail and then polypaint :D Let me know what you guys think. ZoraWIP3 by ElliotBetancourt, on Flickr
