It's looking better! The easel is strange though...would have to be REALLY damn strong to support a cintiq. Also, scratches from the wacom on a cintiq are usually concentrated around wherever the center is of someone's usage area. For example, a right handed user would accumulate the most scratches slightly offcenter to…
for the tablet question: (assuming your using the right pen for your tablet model, if not thats probably the probelm.) I've had that problem a few times. I unistall, and reinstall the driver, and it usually works again. (you can download off the wacom site, as well as get new updated drivers for your tablet.)
Well it seems everyone recommends modo and I have tryed it before and it was very decent but I at the moment $1k is probably too much (also seeing as I broke my wacom). Also I am covered on the photoshop front. But I am trying blender at the moment. I will see how this goes.
what would u do if someone came up and pushed your wacom pen around while you were sculpting? Not once but several times throughout the day..... acting is art and if someone messed with your art over and oover again........im sure u would get pissed too....lol
Hey thanks Woogity. Think I might do some more after Christmas (want to take some time off) and give him a gun. I think the missus has bought me a new Wacom for Christmas so I might pump out some designs and post them soon.
scoobydoofus: that sony 24 inch crt is what i had on the flame* i was toying with. don't you run into problems with wacoms on this one? for me, the intuos freaked out with a shaking cursor when i put it close to the screen. before that i had barely believed the stories about monitors that interfere with tablets.
1. Buy a treadmill and run an hour every day. 2. Ship my first big title. 3. Buy a labtop and wacom for trip to england. 4. Go to england. 5. Buy an HDTV and build a media center PC. Some of that may get moved to next year still not sure what.
i have just been working a little this afternoon on this head i just started it in zbrush today,i used my wacom, isnt it the Cutest 3d model every, haha,jk let me know what you think, Thanks,Chris http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/884/creature01vg4.jpg
So i finally bought myself a wacom intous pro and tried out making a concept art for a weapon to try and get used to it so here is my attempt i would love feedback and help on what i should do in terms of improving , still deciding on how i want to add the handle tho XD
I'm surprised wacom hasn't come up with texture layers or something to alter the surface you work on, they seem to be allergic to innovating these days. In any case, the newer small tablets are basically the same size as the old intuos 3 right? They're both ~6 x 8 drawing area? The intuos 3 (medium) just takes up more desk…
