I think the first time I posted was under the name ZeroWave.. Bobo had posted a q3 model that everyone was skinning..not the Brunt model..but the one before that..at some point I swapped over to Low Odor...mostly lurk anymore.
it's a swan bro. Ever heard of the tale of the ugly duckling? I sent an update to apple with my completed water shader, finally cracked it. Next I'll be adding LOD and some simple caustics. Maybe a few new items... lets see.
If you always bake in XN you can change the default tangent space to XN so you won't have to bother changing it. Go to edit->preferences and swap it there, and then every new mesh you import will be set to XN tangent space.
Crappy webcam pic. I'll swap it out with a better one later. Love Trackmania (top-left) I'm trying (and failing) to get it running in Win7. I'm still rockin' the Intuos 3 too, the best feel of any drawing tablet.
I'm actually quite interested in the Wii-U. The launch lineup of both the XB1 and the PS4 did not really interest me that much so I'll probably end up snagging a Wii-U in the near future. This game looks great by the way!
Yea, what shrike said. But you can switch out the URL for your own domain name, you just have to buy it separately and swap it. Its pretty cool, I'll be doing that when I have finished my work.
On your shot of 3 characters, I'd swap the top & bottom halves so the front images are seen first; opening with the backsides is off. In the final image, you should show the normal map as well as the diffuse since you mention both.
Probably a good idea, I've added a bit of sway to his gaze too. Is there any sort of limit or recommend number of frames for a walk cycle? I could have him looking around a bit more if I made the animation longer.
@thomasp I only used Max 2015 for 10 months at my last job. The settings were under Mouse preferences IIRC. I also ended up swapping RMB and MMB in the Wacom drivers by creating a separate entry for Max.
Best color site there is, imo: http://www.colourlovers.com/ Amazing palettes, awesome blog, good info, nice community. I think Adobe snagged the idea awhile back with Kuler, but was never able to really pull it off like Colour Lovers.
