ooh, shiny! Would this be able to handle multiple passes? (i think that's the name. for when you want things like that cartoon outlines, overlays that show up over geometry that's obscuring it?)
It also helps to know what exactly are you trying to model. A "head" is vague. Is it a man; woman, child, fat guy, cartoon character etc? All of those require specific approaches.
Looking again at Airborn, ignoring the obvious cartoon side, its like the rocks there are more angular, more sharp. I can do that, maybe, lol :p Let me try...
it looks so cool!! I would love to know which material You used in final render to make that cartoon feel.Im looking for that effect in my character I am working on.
Tiny and Big has a really artsy graphics, lots of sketchy cartoon shader magics! [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gau64RmevJs"]Tiny & Big - Grandpa's Leftovers - YouTube[/ame]
Nice! If you do not have a cartoon concept while you were doing the exercises...I'd side with Mezz and suggest you pretty much the same thing he / she suggested. :)
i like the cartoon stuff best you seem like you may have a bit more of a natural tallent at the toony stuff, especialy the guy in the chair, great job on them
The drawing isnt poor, and it doesnt have a sense of depth or perspective because it is stylised. Its made that way intentionally. there is no way for you to tell looking at that cartoon image what the capability of the artist is.
"Spaz"?! hahahaha didn't they learn from when the makers of Cubix got burnt for calling one of their characters "Mong"? i'm waiting for the new breed of cartoon heroes : Flid, Joey and Homo
I love this stuff!! Father Grigori and the TF2 girls are amazing! I really like the forms and colors in those cartoon drawings. Children (anyone really) would be very drawn to them!
