fly_soup where abouts are you in PA? I didn't think there was another polycounter within 300 miles of me :P Anyway, communication would be #1 in a job like that. Entry level, they probably just look for someone who loves games. The lead QA's are more than likely the ones that need any sort of training/experience. -

With modo 302 they implemented "simmetry fix", and perfect for me! for some reason, i hate instances, and i think it must be because i do characters mainly. Even A4 is inaccurate. The active area on an A4 model is actually 305 x 231 mm, which works because that's a 4:3 aspect ratio and it matches up nicely with computer screens. Regular A4 is more like a 10:7. Anyway I call them A4/A3 because that's what it says on the box. -

Yes, the gpu lightmass baker: https://forums.unrealengine.com/development-discussion/rendering/1460002-luoshuang-s-gpulightmass I am not sure how to go about it. I seem to be having issues getting the gpu to build sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I have also set the TDR delay to about 300. -

Some progress on the low-poly at the moment it's ~20k triangles. I'm aiming for 20-30k triangles and a 8192 base texture set (de-res'd to 4096 in game most likely). Please let me know any concerns, as I want this model to be ready to hold up detail at 4k. Crit away. -

Yeah thats a bit much to say the least, for $300 i expect atleast 40 or 60 gigs. But obviously they arent marketing to people who want the most memory for their money, they already have those products. They want the wankers who just want to have the prettiest new piece of crap to brag about.
