Portfolio Facelift
Hey folks, Im getting ready to start applying around and gave my portfolio a much needed facelift and added all my recent work. Would love to hear feedback! Is it clear enough that the buttons are buttons and not just banners? Does it look right in you're browser? design sit well with you? Anything would be helpful! Thanks… -
3DS Max Hotkeys don't work
I assigned "Quick Planar Map" in the Unwrap UVW category to S but when I press S it just Snaps Toggle in the main bar so I went into the main menu and turned the hotkey off for that button but the QPM button still doesn't work. Apart from assigning the hotkey, what else do I have to do? -
3DS Max- GoZ-Zbrush?
Hey guys, last night I've got the students version of 3ds Max ...and my question is : how do I export the model from 3ds Max to Zbrush? I can import the model from Zbrush using GoZ but I can't find the GoZ button in 3dsMax :( Maya was kinda easy because there was a GoZ button.. Thanks!:thumbup: -

What material were you using initially? I'm seeing the Cd button (next to CropandFill button))is unpressed. In this case, Zbrush will do a kind of weird multiplication of the texture over your canvas (and this seems material dependent). If you press Cd, this won't happen (at least is working here to me). -

me2 really like softimage personally, m button means Magic,:3 but 3ds max has some advantage too, material ID, and smoothing group management is huge advantage in 3dsmax. to learn new software I keep hotkey and button customization to minimum or none ( default setting). -

Intuos3 here too, and it happens everytime in my other computer and on this one just often. Usually to work on photoshop with the pressure i need to reopen photoshop using the pen already, and don't touch any button, mouse, wacom button while it loads and opens. thought it was just with my tablet -

yay thanks! I got it. but here's the next problem :( . before i hit the L2V button after i hit the L2V button edit: i could move them into the correct positions while in L2V mode, but, when i uncheck it and then turn it back on i'm screwed all over. -

Using it atm.. I don't like that i cant drag with my middle mouse button... Bookmarks, don't like windows start button style browsing method, I have a lot of bookmarks <_< Its fast :D , im sure they will make it better, i like it .. thumbs up -

Good idea. Added a button "Too Big". Which does nothing except lets someone know their post is too large. Is this something you all want? Reply with your thoughts. Edit: We tried a "Too Big" button, but discarded the idea, info here.
