The problem I'm having is looking at a game and I think it's using vertex painting, but not being able to confirm it. I don't want to get it wrong and then I hand it in and someone says "well, actually that's a custom texture." You know? Any concrete examples would be super appreciated! -

Texturing (confirmed), UDK import and setup probably. Anything after texturing is still a bit vague, we're figuring that out soon... And yes, this thing is a monster of a task. I don't think you really want to make a vehicle any more complex than this by yourself :p -

@cw, Thanks for the reply! The screenie is in Ortho but the errors also appear in perspective view . :S If i can confirm this is an error on Blenders behalf, they should fix it pretty quickly i would think. If anyone wants to take a closer look,you can grab the .blend HERE -

I know part of the problem is that there are a constant stream of new people. So could it help if this sort of information was part of the general sign up process? Like on the sign up page or after they click the confirmation email they get sent to an info page like this, or before their first post. -

Ahh, cool. Thanks for info Jesse. I only heard good things about the refurb. units, but your experience definitely confirms that. As soon as I get my funds together, I'm going to purchase one of these. I have to sell my 12wx first tho. -

I will need to confirm, but I believe that it's with the NFL and the players' union. This means that no players could be used in any way if they are portrayed as having anything to do with football. So sure, you could put Peyton Manning in a martial arts game, but not in any type of football type game. -
Quick question about TopoGun 3
Hi Someone on my uni course was showing me a preview of TopoGun 3, which looks awesome. However, he claimed that if you have and you've paid for TopoGun 2, you can't get 3 as a free upgrade...? Or you have to pay for TopoGun 3 still...? Can anyone confirm this? Thanks
