Update: Put more effort into understanding the muscles and where they connect better. I also made the lower arms smaller and more comical and pushed the silhouette shape more.
Latest thing inspired by this comic: Lots of broken anatomy, centered composition, fairly uninteresting pose, etc. Mainly a practice to make something largely foreign in terms of nature.
http://xkcd.com/585/ Proving once more that there is an XKCD comic suitable for all occasions. I don't think I actually have anything relevant to add to the thread.
The original Freedom Force by Irrational had some excellently cheesey 1960's era comic-style dialogue, and appropriately over-the-top voice acting to go with it. "For FREEDOM!!!"
The Joker looks like Joseph Fiennes. I have no idea what verm is on about (haven't read comics), but if the next batman movie is like this last one...yay
If there was the comedy award, I think this one would get it http://www.gameartisans.org/contests/events/1/team1/preview_finals_1_592.html The comic at the bottom had be laughing pretty loud.
The original sketch isn't shading anywhere. It looks fine for me as a 2d comic line art style Consistant through out the body. very good point there Eric.
all Hollywood produced movies about female comic book characters degenerate into OMG Boobs! and I doubt an Elektra even by miller could have been good.
