I've got a problem. Whenever I go to Render to Texture, in 3ds Max 2010 to render out my Normal, with the projection modifier, it keeps introducing 'Automatic Flatten UVs' modifier into the stack. You basically break the model apart like Steed does, but then turn the pieces into cloth and let them fall onto a flat surface, thereby flattening them out quickly. Are you talking about the Ring and Loop buttons that are in Selection Parameters inside of UnwrapUVW? Or the edge loop button inside of the Unwrap Editor window right next to the paint selection tool? Select loop and ring, can also be added to the quad menu, and bound to keys. Okay, I've made a couple adjustments to the subObjectLevel scripts. One to fix the UnwrapUVW issue you brought up, and another to automatically switch to the Modifiy panel. About the selections not transfering over to other sub-object modes, I don't know what to say. It works both at home and on differenct computers here…
