Polygon paths? No, like was said, you use vertex blending, never extra geo. And just have your textures all as 100% self illuminated (under blinn basic parameters). by setting it to self illuminate that way its actually just using the vert colors to light the scene, and sense by default all verts are white everything looks… -

So far from experiance Ive found the DS is not a bad little device. Whats wierd is how no1 seems to want to push the DS to its limits, current game im working on looks really brilliant, amazes me everyday that its on a DS of all things! -

DS cool games I have: mario kart, kirby, FFIII, advance wars, yoshi touch and go, metroid, etc. Soooo many more cool game choices if you get a DS. PSP does have its own cool selling points though. Still, DS is much better and cheaper. -

i regret getting rid of my ds, i wanted it solely for the new advanced wars, i am enjoying the psp still, but advanced wars was such a good game, i hope fire emblem gets the same treatment on the ds, and i hear that Blizzard is considering doing a starcraft for the DS, I may have to get another one -
