thanks, that looks like i managed to stumble across ALL the issues within just 5 minutes of playing with it. i encountered the palette move when empty and took it for a bug. i should ditch this wacom pen and start working in QA... :* custom interface attempt aborted it is then!
As far as I know the Dell XPS 27 does not support stylus input. You might be thinking of the new Dell Canvas that runs on Wacom tech but is only a monitor, not an all-in-one. http://surfaceproartist.com/blog/2017/1/5/dell-canvas-unveiled-at-ces-2017
hand-painting the normals would go a long way toward this effect, which is what this krita plugin is attempting to do. Check it out, skip to around 8 min mark. I guess it works by picking up on the tilt of your wacom tablet, looks very interesting.
Finally got a medium sized wacom after having a small for all these years! went for photorealistic/hyperreal colour type thing on this study so lots of subsurface colour and hopefully I learned some anatomy too. It was fun but I enjoyed it too much and spent 6hrs!
[ QUOTE ] If you think you'll be getting corel draw or painter. You wont. Never bother with "free" crap. [/ QUOTE ] Do you know this software package specifically? I know Painter has come free with Wacom Tablets in the past, so it's not like it never happens.
Well as it is quite a big purchase im waiting to see if apple upgrades there macbook pros this fall first before i decide, but ive added on a new wacom and 2nd monitor to this list as well :P all will be bought at the same time, so im holding off for a bit.
Yep, exactly the same problem here. It sucks kinda hard. The only thing that works for me is resetting the wacom preference files and after that sometimes a reboot. Allthough this is not the most favorable way it should work, it works and fixes it everytime consistently. Hope this helps for you as well! Cheers.
Meh figured I could just use this space to post my wips and projects that are just me playing around with new things. So on that note... I'm currently playing with this guy. I never get to touch characters and I'm finding that while drinking beer it's relaxing pushing my wacom pen around. So with that.
Thank you! I've actually been watching all his videos. He's just too pro lol. I'm considering buying a Wacom Intuos4 tablet but thought I'd better improve my pencil drawings and sketches before spending good amounts of money on something that won't exactly get me anywhere without foundational skills.
Sorry for the bump but to be more specific; https://sketchfab.com/models/df83f0a4b22c4aaa9dc3942da2a1ed8c https://sketchfab.com/models/fd6e786416f34ebcbceeb5840f6126c2 If a studio was surfing around for assets and commissioned to have a techy alien ish research center created or a fantasy style battle axe, would this be…
