Thanks a lot for the feedback guys. @Bartalon I will try and sort the cv stuff out tomorrow. Here is a test version of the portfolio at the moment: http://www.chris.4765656b.co.uk/ What do you think of the changes? There are more to come
Actually I would modify the high poly. This top 'lip' of the barrel can't be baked on most of your low poly models. I would just change this part into something that doesn't change the silhouette that much. Of course the most dense low poly looks the best ;p Wondering if specific poly count is ok is pointless without…
Yeah, I'm interested in the GT-220. Watched a bunch of reviews. Most say its a great tablet for the price, not as good as Cintiq but still great. Biggest downside being the Drivers. Apparently the rule is "Do not plug in the Huion before installing the drivers" or vice versa, cant remember. Follow guides before doing…

Oops. If you want the mesh to match the location of the spline, use the World Space PathDeform modifier, not the Object Space one. OS should put the spline to the mesh location, while WS does the opposite. http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/16/ENU/3ds-Max-Help/files/GUID-47EA2253-C097-434A-82AD-B13E2DE10C6C.htm
Mike, what kind of performance do you get with particle density of 3-5 on that exact trouser garment from your first post? can you interact comfortably while simulation is on ? if you get good performance, what is your system spec ? http://www.cgfeedback.com/cgfeedback/showpost.php?p=47034&postcount=24 that looks pretty…
If the Skinning works on one side of the character you might be able to mirror the skin weighting. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/maya/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/Maya/files/GUID-C3034EAB-C824-476E-91A5-AE2A62A7E24D-htm.html
