shoes are looking really wonky, they have some strange looking curves. heals should point up instead of straight. this one is pretty extreme, but I think it proves my point :) http://alterbrooklyn.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/hutchinson_black_2.jpg?w=300
I just picked up a Sony CyberShot DSC-H2. Wonderful camera for the price (about $300). It's got 12x optical zoom, super image stabilization, and manual shutter/aperture/exposure settings. Great all around, and I don't regret the purchase one bit.
i hate to see nintendo go, but yeah, i think the ONLY way they'll be able to survive is if the next system was dirt cheap compared to the other systems and it may be considering the others could be in excess of $300, but they are being blown out of the water as we speak, err...type
Looks like an intriquing design..I would say .308 by the mag size. The picatinny rail doesnt look correct though and I would have suggested trying to duplicate a military scope..they are very distinct. I'm also not a big fan of that piece under the foreguard..looks like a stick on piece.
Wife works at gamestop (I know, I know) but said that pre-orders are stated at $300 but that it is a temporary holding price. If someone pre-orders it they have to tell them the price is subject to change. @Mezz The $1000 tag started with Gamestops website. It's since been taken down but it stated the price at $999.99.
Yeah, that makes more sense, I managed to get my train tracks from 900 down to just over 300 by deleting unrequired faces and vertex which gives me more tris to play with for other models. My whole scene now is 12,096 after the cleanup. thanks for the help :)
Fonfa: I am using generic units and the object is about 280 units tall, 194 units deep, and 330 units wide. I had never seen this before either and have not found much useful information by searching for it. It is not a complicated mesh either, so this one has me confused.
I second the Lide, but all I've ever scanned in are pencil drawings. Honestly, scanning pencil drawings...is not rocket science. :p Just give your drawing enough of a margin to avoid parts getting cropped off. I just use the grayscale scan at 300 dpi and tweak the levels in Photoshop.
Well thanks a bunch Sonic and KDR. Helped a lot, i think i'm going to go with a 256mb 6800 ... yay, i'm all excited now. Edit: now looking at it... I can't seem to find a 256mb 6800 on newegg that is also AGP... . shucks. only a 6800GT and that one is about $300...
respawnrt and Blaisoid: Thanks so much for taking the time to crit! Totally see where I went wrong. I'll fix it up after work :) Blasoid, thanks again for letting me model these! They're a ton of fun. Fredd 2303: Cheers mate! Glad ya dig
