Blender 2.8 | Snap bone in pose mode to empty location
Hi, I'm trying to make a world space to pose space converter. Ex: IK arm ctrl is in world space. I switch to hip space and the arm doesn't pop out but stays in the place it was before. I do this by spawning an empty at the bone location, switching space and moving the bone to the empty. But I can't move it back correctly.… -

depends on what you mean by "rigging" You should know how to build a skeleton and skin weighting. you don't have to know how to build a full featured animation control rig, but having basic knowledge of the standard types of constraints is very useful. After trying quite a few things, I think I have found the solution. I'll detail it here for anyone who comes across this with the same issue I was having. The centre part is set up to have it's pivot in it's centre. This is so it is at a tangent to the path at all times. These are then constrained using a path constraint.… -
