That really sucks. Especially coming off the heels of Toy Story 3 which had around 80 metacritic, and was an allround fantastic game. Surprised such a strong liscenced game hadn't sold as well as expected.
I like the nice 80's punk vibe, the voice effect isn't too great. Needs more attitude. Too redundant, and a little slow. Cool but feels a little dated. Younger is better.
i have no idea what gave it away... th elittle upper left corner piece screamed 80s..and the first thing I thought of was that cover. I'll put a new one up in a bit!
Realistically, 2 weeks of 9-5 = 40hours per week x 2 = 80 hours. If you got the job you'd be expected to produce the same amount of work to the same quality in two weeks.
Is this a feature or is there any talk about adding something like this? I found this tut that's cool albeit a bit hacky. This would make Marmoset more of a candidate for being a concept tool. https://80.lv/articles/tutorial-rendering-passes-in-marmoset-toolbag/
Finally finished Terry. Higher res images can be found at: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Pgd5y Some of the pipeline tips can be found at: https://80.lv/articles/baj-singh-character-creation-technique/ Cheers Polycount :)
Promo Trailer for Sylvester Stallones, The Expendables has been released, a homage to cheesy 80's action flicks! Check it out, it's all kinds of badass :D http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/10/13/sylvester-stallones-the-expendables-promo-trailer/
I would use substance designer. https://80.lv/articles/forest-ground-substance-breakdown/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1s_H3qAzlk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlwGm3cW6dM
For anyone who might be interested in more detailed information: We did a little breakdown for 80lvl :) https://80.lv/articles/001agt-002mrs-004adk-making-a-victorian-room-in-cryengine/
The silhouettes of the characters seem weak. Might want to spend some time concepting before jumping in. Good inspiration choice, I think. Do you intend for it to feel like the 80s?
