this is pretty much exactly what i say too. its funny how making games has actually helped me pick up girls from time to time, most of the time if you preface what you do with, "i have the coolest/nerdiest job in the world" 60% of the time......it works everytime.
Hey rorozilla! Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm glad to hear that you can't find any issue :-) Thx for the hint regarding the spot under the lips. Actually is just a hard edge (They are automaticly generated on angles (normal-different) over 60 degrees). Thanks for your support! Cheers - starcow
Better be true 1080p, I don't get everyone's obsession with 60fps, as long as it doesn't drop below 30 you can't really tell. But we watch movies and tv all the time filmed at 24, and never complain about it. With motion blur its a lot harder to tell the different between 24 and 60.
Right so i ended up modeling some more stone (60 to be precise) just to learn the sculpting of it better. still..... Right now its all about the textures . so i made this out of it .... still a W.I.P of course, But the result was better than expected. what do you think Thank you
I'm fine with paying $4 for this. I know that I'm getting a sponsored game right from the start. It's much better than paying $50-$60 and finding ads in the game. Besides, I love the idea of scaring the crap out of people as The King. I only hope there are some great responses from the unsuspecting
Well.... looks like I won't be playing any time soon. My system crashed to desktop the first time I tried loading the second map, and completely locked up / black screened my system the second time I tried loading it. Looks I just spent $60 for nothing for a while.
I need to stress that those low end gpus are a rip off in general and a real waste for 3d and rendering. I'd recommend just using onboard graphics for a month or 2 instead of wasting £60 on one. The 1660 is pretty much around a good base entry level card for 3d that's not going to be very problematic in some way.
You can change the smoothing angle of the mesh but in modo it is located in the shader tree menu>Base Material> Properties> Smoothing Angle. To get it to mimic max the value is higher but I can't remember the exact number. I think it's 60? Somebody else please chime in. I have modo open so here is a pic (Bottom)
I also test 3d interactivity on the screen and that's why the table is so close, if you take a look there are 8 camera's mounted on the screen which are used for motion capture. :) And i usually make it a bit smaller because at that distance i do have to turn my head 60 degrees to see the recycle bin icon :) )
Can't tell: -What it's supposed to do -What it's actually doing -What your maps look like -What any of the nodes are -Can't see about 60-80% of your material A better screenshot showing your entire material at a decent resolution will help hugely. What're you putting in and what're you expecting out?
