I'm using MAYA 2008 Extension 2 In your viewport menu, under Shading, switch on Polygon Transparency Sorting, as opposed to Object Transparency Sorting, this will fix all your alpha problems. See Example : -

Hi Andrew, I'm sorry to say Frame Geo is available in 3ds Max 2008+ only. Unfortunately the script needs some commands to modify viewports that are not exposed to MaxScript in version 9.

Just tried it out in 9 and 2008 and when I apply it to my item it goes invisible. Anything I need to change in the settings? Seems like a great shader. Lots of settings.
Thanks man, that worked! however there wasn't a "blending" option (but that might be because I use maya 2008 and you use another version) but I choose ambient+diffuse and it worked :D
