there's a community project on the unreal forum that is making an ocean: https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?42092-Community-Project-WIP-Weather-amp-Ocean-Water-Shader they probably have some nice features you can reverse engineer for your ocean
~ It's really so refreshing to not only see stunning work, but that you're helping give back to the community by explaining everything and answering questions. I can't tell you just how important people like you are to the community. You rock!
Communicating concepts and ideas can be hard and having a MOD team that only meets online doesn't make that easier. Collecting a lot of reference images which reflect the look of the different things in the game can help communicating the (art) style.
you can create a blend mask at the first spine joint so that everything below it is ignored Blend Masks and Blend Profiles in Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.4 Documentation | Epic Developer Community (epicgames.com) alternatively you can also edit the animation in your 3d program to remove the stand up portion as well
First a big thanks to the guys at ND, because working with you is always a pleasure :) Great points - finding the right balance of documentation. Not every studio can afford to hand-pick documentation for the outsourcer, but it does cost us time when we have to dig through tons of docs just to find out what concerns us…

Who in the Polycount community was really awesome last year??? We want to hear from you, our community members! You are the backbone, the core, the root of all things…
Today we are thrilled to announce that today is our sixteenth birthday of the community. From all of us here, thank you all for being a part of the big green club that is the community. May we have many more to come! Be the first to wish your fellow polycounters a happy 16th birthday on the first of April. Wear a lil green…
Hello! This is my first (real) post, and I wanted to give back to a community that has been helpful in my own edification of the 3D world. I present an alternative icon for Zbrush. A great application should have a sharp looking icon in the dock. The download link is posted on my (barren) Behance page. Grab it for yourself…
