The best thing to keep the model as one whole mesh is to have two unwraps with two different uv sets going on but you need two differrnt map channels. FRAPS is awesome for capturing. Cheap too, if you want to remove the watermark. Uses multiple cores if you have 'em, freeing up CPU time for the game to use, for faster framerates. If you want a free NLE video editor, Wax is pretty good. NLE = non-linear edit, meaning you can layer clips, drag them around for timing, etc. -
