In the shader tree, go to the Render item (the top item) and scroll down to the bottom of it's Frame properties. Tick "Bake Directional Effects". Usually specular highlights and reflections aren't things you want to bake because it's dependent on the position of the camera.
@Fwap Hi! If I understand it right, you are trying to click on the menu items on the pie. The plugin doesn't work that way, it just wants you to hover over the item and let go your shortcut key, then it'll execute the action.
I'd love to see some wireframe breakdown on some of these items, especially the land pieces (I.E. Rock over hangs) I'm aspiring to be an environment artist and I would like to know the tri-count on items such as that to better my understanding of it.
No need to mess with the registry. Just use msconfig (start->run->"msconfig") to disable extra startup items. Third-party apps often install startup items to check for updates, etc. It's usually safe to disable all or most of them.
Well, another thing to keep in mind is multi-platform. Sometimes its easier to shoot a little low on all your items rather than build separate items for each platform. But that depends on the company the pipeline and who's making what...
You'll be skinning(or skin wrapping) the clothing items to the same skeleton as the character. Then you import the character[to engine] and choose the skeletal mesh on import. Then for every item that you import to engine you can choose the same skeleton as the character's.
