please excuse my shitty mouse outlines: here's an image of the uvs and where that particular image (above) is symmed Keep in mind though, that this happens wherever I symmetry anything with normals....so either its a global issue, or there's something I don't know about how to symmetry for udk.
You lot scare me. Greenpeace are trying to save the planet for fucks sake. They have always been peaceful in their protestation. When global warming finally melts all the polar ice caps, and turns the planet into hell on earth for your kids, I wonder If you'll still think this is funny.
Hey man try turning up your global illumination values in the time of day settings and get some accent lights in there. its all very dark and somewhat hard to see any of the details you have put in to the scene
Functional fusion reactors or a future power source along those lines as its the gateway to tons of other technological jumps forward (faster, longer space travel for example). Also it solves any long term global energy problems.
Increasing texturesizes globally to twice the size would require 4 times the amount of memory, but that's besides the point. It's minimum requirements, they're not going to force a higher texture setting on pc, they'll use the same as on the consoles or less, via a setting.
2048 x 2048 texture sizes as a standard. Example (credits to Nix), Also, I imagine average character polycounts will go up to 40,000-120,000 (before tessellation). I'll also want to have some Global Illumination showcases.
I wish the new bevel tool allowed you to edit individual bevels/corners instead of having a global change. Oh and I am aware of the Frostsoft plugin man. =P Just having it built in would be nice y'know.
I had the same issue a while back and found it was the motion blur setting on UE4. If you turn it off there should be no more blur when you press play :) . Search Global Post Process Volume and it's an option on there to turn off.
Here are some drawings and 2D concepts. In my first concept the global scale of the set was too large and the environment was too open. So Ive switched to a more intimist space, and this will be the one I will work on. WIP Paint process :
1) Global warming 2) Man made islands have a tendancy to keep sinking into the sea as the soil continues to compact and or erode away. Once you build on the island its kind of hard to put more dirt under the building.
