I agree with Spug. If you look at your own arms in proportion to your body if you raise them. The elbow falls right at the top of the head. If I measure on your model it falls on the ear. So it looks like the entire arm should be elongated by around 25%.
How about this one? spec strenght 1 glossiness 25 spec color magenta pushed toward the white .... as fprthe bronze behind I am splitting the two materials as I guess I can't use both the subsurface for metal and jade or the same env color ...
Yeah, It's about $25 per pound here. Barnes is a good option for picking up the less common sculpting and moulding stuff. You'll find Sculpey in pretty much every art store, but stuff like Chavant or Monster Clay are a bit tougher to find. http://www.barnes.com.au/
Right now the votes stand for mostly Yardhouse in Marina Del Ray. The proposed plan: Meet outside until there's about 10 of us to reserve the 25 seats we probably need. I will personally try to be in a black zip-up sweater that says "Core Overload" on the back.
The Rotor is way over detailed... you could bake a normalmap out of that How many polys is that thing alone? 5k? P.S.: Have a look at this real world version for design ideas: http://www.engadget.com/2006/08/25/gen-h4-personal-helicopter-is-for-realz-and-for-sale/
Updated the lighting to less suck, and working on the color pass. Still have a fair bit to go, but will hopefully be able to wrap this up later today (is 3:25 am so today is yesterday's tomorrow) EDIT: "Finished" the picture this evening, didn't feel like a new post.
If you intend to make it cross-platform and you have the means to learn C++, writing software with Qt and QtCreator (the IDE) is a breeze. http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qsystemtrayicon.html#details It takes time, but I learned with these: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2318335&postcount=25
That sounds close. The poly count for the mudbox model was about 5 million, then i polycrunched it down to about 1.3 million polygons. When using polycrunch you want to get that count down to about 25% of the original. It should still have all the detail in there even at that much.
Pea: It's the quintessentially British thing to bitch about the weather. If it were any hotter than 25 degrees C we'd be complaining about the ridiculous heat and how we're all covered in blisters from the goddamn sun. Or maybe thats just me. Goddamn Irish skin.
^ What he said. But for dual wides, get 2 20"-21.5" costs about the same as a 23"-25" but you get more then twice the screen real estate. After 21.5 you start paying more then 20$ an additional inch depending on where you buy.
