Hi Kampas, I like the colour scheme, and the design. However for me it feels a bit unbalanced with the circle 'HAL' at the back. How would it look in between the handle and the magazine?
Maybe model a bicycle without a tutorial? Think like an engineer, a bicycle is made up of cylinders and circles...look at reference and create piece by piece, starting from the frame.
maybe you can paint the texture straight, then apply it to a long poly strip and then use bend modifier or something similar and get it into a circle, and weld it onto your tire
Digging the design. Would be interesting if the lower half of the sphere had a circular bevel on the side that matches the upper half, so it would be one solid circle when closed.
If in doubt, F1. IT's among the different selection modes - rectangle, circle, polygon, freehand, paint. Paint is the one closest to what you want I think. Good luck!
currently: Tool, a perfect circle, NIN, Incubus, Soil, Pain, Ministry, Static-X, Ennio morricone and tryin out Chevelle actually (that I read on Rawkstar's post)
the neck has some weird polyflow. That circle where the adams apple is? I dont think that is necessary. I think the eyes might be a little too far apart.
I agree. Given how many triangles you're throwing at the front, it's also silly that the grates besides the display rely 100% on normals, as do those 3 bolts (? the triangle of circles) on the sides.
@danpaz3d, I think it would look better with rounder edges if the hair is coming down from top. Or just have circles up top if it's a flatop. Prizes sound great, whatever's clever.
