i've seen used ones of various kinds in the $800 range, i think one was a older model 21X EDIT: yeah ebay has a few 21UX for around $800, some higher some lower.
Specs cpu wise doesn't look that powerful. Its using a 600 vs 800 snapdragon. Qualcom recommends 800 for smart tv's. That being said, still more powerful than 1st gen Ouya.
The viewport in 801 is not physically based and the viewport in 901 is almost physically based (GTR not far from GGX). There is no way to match 801 to the 3do render. Your best bet is to use marmoset.

To fix this problem you need to upscale your mesh with (size in deformation panel) I do an upscale of 800 and run the script, after just need to do a -800 to go back to is original size. It's seems to be a problem with the size of your mesh.

After some searching around I'm getting numbers between 25k and 80k. Granted the dude saying he had 80k tris was talking about everything including the interior, inside of the trunk, detachable bumpers etc. Maybe split the difference and go for something around 53k?
