22. Not sure. I imagine you'd have to get the input and output connections to find the nodes it's connected to, break those connections, and then re-connect the original plugs avoiding the node you wanted to remove. Never tried something like that though, sounds dangerous :) 23. Your description is correct, that's how…
Hi guys. At work, I use a program called Creator (by Presagis) which is heavily dependent upon grids for creating geometry. It's similar to the early days of Max (I've been using it since 4.2) except that it's substantially less functional. It does shine in many areas, like the grid tools. I'm trying to get functionality…
This is a discussion I have often heard. So what I have heard from different people: You guys are right, of course with what you said. I feel that a T-Pose is easier to rig (i may be wrong though). For deformations: Like Elyaradine said, if the character raises it's arms a lot (i.e. does all kinds of acrobatic moves) or…
Yes it is entirely legal to use it for commercial purposes. Pretty much all open source software can be used commercially. Regarding bevel - yep 'selective bevel' is missing for 2.5a2, also the bridge tool is missing from 2.5a2 (it was ported to 2.5 but was removed from recent builds). You might consider using wings3d for…
From what I see folks who are under 30 all know Blender at quite good level, better than Max or Maya they had to study in unis. 30-45 just tried it few times and hated it, over 45 never tried. So it's just matter of time. Just inevitable.
Radians are another way of measuring angles but they have no units. 360 degrees equals 2*pi radians. The 45/360 = x/(2*pi) bit is just a ratio conversion of 45 degrees to the equivalent radians.
App store = %30 off the top, add on top of that the UDK %25 fee, so your take home is %45. So if your app is the golden standard of $1.00 then you get $.45 for each sale.
