Grab the new "Blueprint Office" showcase from the UE4 marketplace, it has a blueprint for 'godrays' and a somewhat similar effect for a security camera light.

But are the large particle counts restricted to the small oval shape material? I'm talking about the millions of particles they were showcasing: Halo: Reach does GPU particles similarly and they are also like that, only really used for sparks.
So it looks like a new Gears of War has been revealed. Do you guys reckon it'll run on UE3 or be a showcase for UE4? (I might also add that regardless of what I said above, I'm still stoked for a new Gears game :P)
I think the material editor is much easier to get close to marmoset PBR quality without headache, ( even though I find marmoset still better at displaying uncompressed texture, and bokeh DOF) also they removed the 65k polygon limit, so its good for showcase or concepting
