Doing still coding but it's quite easy and fast and super easy to debug atm I'm adding n-player support - you can charge the weapon and give each weapon an unique charge effect - you can kill purple plants and get experience - player spawn points - and a lot of organization and optimizing of organization
Organic growth for a game i'm working on that takes place inside a body, going to be rendered out for 2d use in background. Anyone have any good links on how to do nice looking renders?
I'm working on a cartoony basehead that I'm gonna play with to find some cool proportions for a cartoony look. (I've stolen the ears from some SDK as a placeholder). I'm having fun, organic modeling is so different!
I think it's maybe a little early to be tackling characters...you don't fully understand proper polygon modelling yet. Try smaller non-organic projects till you do. As is stands now your work is not improving from project to project.
How about people submit tutorials and stuff for the book, and someone manages it, decided what to keep, offer suggestions to lacking submitted content, or something along those lines. Half the money should go to the site, half goes to some organization or charity (and some for the poor soul who spends months putting it…
The way your db folders should look My Dropbox ->Public ->Polycount ->[insert images] polycount sub folder is really just an organization thing...keeps files straight :) but yes, your file has to be public for the public to view it. You can just turn on the option for your photos folder to be public, but damned if I know…
