worked on the other root. I think about a small scene with the near dead tree as focus... something small and full organic so i can train making organics with zbrush... not sure what... but i will finish first this
Started to model this concept here ignusdei's railpistol and heavily experimented with floaters. Found a nifty little trick to align floaters to organic surfaces in blender, too :O e:// I am also aware of the fact that "that" edge in the front is too tight.
pfff 4 am in the morning... begin of something like a tree. did a big root with a little alienlike organism at the bottom... maybe someone see it :D it drains the life out of that tree. zbrush makes a lot of fun. didnt worked much before with it...
Mhm, indeed. I wasn't planning on staying too true to the original, was more just started as a reason to play around with Laurens' shader. I'm no good at organic modeling, so if I do finish, I'll only be doing the legs and not the zombie soldier.
yes very much in the eye of the beholder:poly142:, maybe change the color of the organic elements lol. @_Calix_ - it looks really good now much healthier and fleshed out. only problem now is the hands the palms are to fat and are making the hands look shorter they actually are.
Yikes, some awesome work in here!! Ruz - love it, the heads you make look so sweet :D Palm that spiderbot is cool, it would be even cooler if you made the last parts of his legs organic then he could be a possible Doom 4 demon!
First time posting in this thread. :D So much good work here it feels redundant to post my thing. But what the hell, here is my WIP: It's nowhere near done yet. First organic model I am doing seriously. Anything prior was just messing about. I plan to make a lo-poly and bake down the normals. It's based off my hand, which…
I'm working on a Ninja Turtle (Donatello) Although I plan on converting the mesh to the others aswell, if all goes to plan. Here's my base mesh so far: I haven't worked on a character in ages! In fact, I haven't made a next-gen style game character before. I'm a little bit torn on the direction I should take him. I want to…
