That looks awesome! The setting and mood really adds depth to the presentation of the minotaur. I especially like the shot of the character between its legs. You could try with the other silhouettes, though this one does look great as is. He's got a good arc going, and the head seems to be sized right Would he have a…
I like how it's progressing. The only thing that bothers me - the legs look too naked and unprotected. It feels like she's running barefoot. I'd add shin and forearm protection. Probably something light and elegant like cuff bracelets.
@jStins thank you! I'll add these notes to my todo, completely agree with all of it. In same boat with the font too, I want something that is a little bold and readable but also has an old world quality to it, but kind of rough and primitive, not ornate. I am gonna finish the last couple illustrations first but then will…
Okay so a lot of things done. I made schedule for 70 hours per character but I have finished the last three in about 12 hours or less. This is first draft of characters and not including animations, but nonetheless it seems like this art style is certainly a lot faster. A lot less technical things to think about so more…
Nothing too add, other than it sure looks like you'd piled on a load of work so take back what I shared earlier - anyhow may the game gods smile on this and your other dev project, too B) OT: Btw if you don't mind, been searching for a UE4..2x download for ages but can't seem to find it anywhere, even on epic's site....so…
It's amazing how even a little bit of set dressing and some music can add a lot to the overall feel of the game. Some random notes that came to mind: -I like the addition of the cypress trees. They break up the skyline. It might even be a good idea to have other types of trees for some variety in shape and size, as some…
Athenian soldier and hoplite have enough animations to be playable. Now headshots and shields matter. If you headshot guys with a helmet it knocks them on ass and does small amount of damage, but doesn't do bleed damage. But in the second they are down you have opportunity to shoot their body or get away.…
Okay, finally making some headway with modular environment kit. Much indecision because this is my area of least experience, hence posting about it alot, lol. Workflow will be to only use maya to make the parts, but assemble them as Packed level instance in unreal. This means I got to do the snapping in unreal which I…
